Hospital Parent-Infant Consultations

Ububele's hospital consultation service provides support to newborn infants and their birth mothers, directly after birth, during their post natal hospital stay. These bedside consultations provide support to mothers presenting with psychosocial support needs directly after delivery, alongside an introduction to attachment and infant mental health. The service provides an important opportunity for relationship building with families from the beginning of their journey (between parents and infants, and between families and Ububele), as well as an opportunity for screening and referring at-risk families.
